I love this fragrance. I know others have found the scent to be too heavy and overpowering but I didn't find this at all. On the one hand it is quite sweet and floral, yet at the same time I could really smell the fruity 'Black Cherry' top notes.

When I first saw the promotional images for La Petite Robe Noire EdT, Guerlain's newest fragrance, I was struck at how young it looked. Guerlain has always had a "womanly" vibe to it and this one channelled "girly".
Guerlain products are not cheap and while at £40 ish for a 30ml bottle this is not exactly the most expensive perfume on the market neither is it cheaop and I must say in my opinion, given the rather disappointing results, it is certainly not worth the money.

... is the bottle - that is what prompted me to buy the perfume. Unfortunately it isn't as long lasting as some of the other Guerlain scents. Also a little bit too strong (in an unpleasant way) when you first spray it on which makes me sneeze a lot.
I have this in the 50ml size, which I got from Boots online when they had a special offer on perfumes online, which made it about £50 for £50ml. I got it about three months ago. It's quite different to other Guerlain perfumes I've worn and tried.
I think reviewing perfumes is generally not fair as it's not like skincare where it either works or it doesn't it's a simple case of if you like it or don't and perfume is so personal to the individual that really only you are the one that can say if you think it's nice or not.

This perfume is a favourite with my wife and our baby daughter (only 43) which shows how it manages to bridge the age gap excellently. One of the range of Petit Robe Noire perfumes, it has become the first choice for day use.
