Gravity Rush 2 is a game about throwing yourself off of buildings for a good cause. It's not the first of its kind, of course. The original Gravity Rush was director Keiichiro Toyama's action-adventure breakout from horror games such as Silent Hill and Siren, and one of the better games on the...

Gravity Rush 2 Review

Marking on of the first times I found use for a remaster, I only became interested in Gravity Rush when I played its remastered edition for the PS4, while I had a few issues with that when it come out, my interest in Gravity Rush 2 was nonetheless piqued.

Much-Improved Graphics and Performance; More intimate; meaningful story; Engaging characters; Fun; beautiful core mechanic

Recycled plot device

Gravity Rush 2 Review – Impossible to Put Down (PS4)

Kat may have saved Hekseville from their plight during the gravity storms, but these storms aren't done with Kat and her friends yet. A gravity storm sucks up Kat, Syd, Dusty, and Raven and deposits them on the other side of the world. Kat and Syd wake up in Banga, a floating mining village.

New gravity styles are fun to play with; Fun online events that reap fun rewards; Improved Gravity Throw is a life-saver; Bigger world means plenty of exploration

Camera is so; so bad when it comes to flying around and attacking; Stealth missions while flailing in the air are not fun; Side missions feel worthless; Story is plain and predictable

Gravity Rush 2 Review – PS4

A solid, well-executed gimmick can mask plenty of potential criticisms, and carry the subject for multiple iterations. Just ask ex-Smiths frontman Morrissey, who has somehow cultivated a career spanning decades by embracing the gimmick of being a bristly, miserable bastard who can be a bit good at...

Gravity Rush 2: "An original, inventive world held back by rote mission design"

When Gravity Rush 2 sticks to its strengths, it soars; it's a shame that its stale mission design and clumsy controls keep it from getting too high off the ground.

Narrative is as strange as it is satisfying; Absolutely bursting with style; Soaring through the air still feels great

Stale mission design forces you to the ground too often; Camera and controls are better but still not optimal; especially in close quarters

The girl who fell from the sky and changed the world – Gravity Rush 2 review

Japan Studio created magic when it brought the charming and lively character of Kat to life. Everyone's favorite nevi-fighting Gravity Queen is back in Gravity Rush 2, and she hasn't missed a beat.

Great A.I; Diverse Missions; Wonderful Soundtrack

Poor Pacing; Unruly Camera

That's so Raven

A hallmark of excellence. It may have some flaws, but they are negligible to what is otherwise a supreme title.

Gravity Rush 2 is a real treat for the eyes, ears, and reflexes. Its cinematic looks and score are wonderful, and its storyline is enthralling and thoroughly compelling. All combine brilliantly with the addictive and entertaining mission-based action to create a terrific game that's an absolute joy...

Turn that frown upside down.

Despite the Yakuza series' cult status, mainstream success has eluded it in the west. If you've never played a Yakuza game before, however, Yakuza Zero is a logical place to test the waters for yourself.

Gripping story; Relentlessly absurd humor; Generous selection of fun minigames; Small but dense and entertaining open world

Combat becomes formulaic; Inconsistent presentation

Excellent game definitely an improvement from the first game while keeping the core fun intact; if you have a PlayStation 4 this is a must buy, in a market overrun with first person shooters this is certainly a very welcome breath of fresh air.
