Another great addition to the series! If your a fan of the series them it's well worth buying. Definitely not for kids!!
Allgoods if the graphics aint up todays standard but that was 2008, 7th gen gaming just started. The storyline is better than 5 and is longer
Grand Theft Auto IV is the 2008 release in Rockstar's popular series of open world adventures that let players experience a life of crime. Like many of the games before it Grand Theft Auto IV launched for consoles first with a Windows release a few months later.
Very polished – Great world to explore – Side activities and missions
Not enough new mechanics; series is due for more innovation
Grand Theft Auto IV took a huge turn in comparison to the previous games in the GTA franchise. With a more serious focus on characters, an in-depth storyline, great graphics, and a number of new gameplay elements, Grand Theft Auto IV is an amazing game. VG-10
Veterans of the series will like it. Niko is as cool as any of the other main characters. The graphics as ever are pretty groundbreaking. In Grand Theft Auto IV, you play as an Eastern European war veteran named Niko Bellic, who is trying to escape his past and live a better life in Liberty City. Your Cousin, Roman, has promised you wealth, cars, and women.
It's GTA done up in all the next gen glory; Satisfying vehicle and shooting mechanics; Amazing story that keeps you going from start to finish
Grand Theft Auto IV steps onto the current console scene with all the swagger and confidence of a gunslinger in an Old West saloon. Men run in fear; women swoon. It packs more heat than an NRA member at an anti-war demonstration.
Genre-defining action sequences; Best GTA story yet; Contnuous indoor/outdoor environments
Nagging friends; Jarring graphical glitches; Antiquated movement and camera controls; Takes 15-20 hours to get to the good stuff
The Grand Theft Auto series has always been the focal point of controversy. Previous games were controversial due to your ability to solicit a prostitute, or unlock sexual minigames, but the latest game is controversial for a whole new reason.
It's easy to talk about how amazing Liberty City is in Rockstar Games' newest action game, Grand Theft Auto IV. But this time around the city isn't the real star; instead that part goes to Niko Bellic, one of the greatest video game characters of all time.
