Nice game at cheap price.

With sports video games, I tend to enjoy the slightly less mainstream offerings, tennis and golf, a little more than most. Of course I like football and baseball, but developers seem to be more willing to take chances with tennis and golf titles.
There's no denying it, really. Sports game fan or tennis fan, there is much to enjoy in EA's latest entry in the genre. Errors and annoyances are few and far between. While the only damaging flaw is a significant lack of difficulty in most portions of the game, don't let yourself lose interest...
I'm not big on sports games, but every once in a great while I need to whet my whistle and play something a little… real. You can only slay dragons, fight demons, and drop blocks for so long before you find yourself desiring a taste of reality, even if it's in virtual form.
Beautiful environments; Plenty of big names; Twin-stick controls are a breeze; Playing online is super smooth

Rockman McAwesome is confused. He spent his rookie season destroying everyone who stood in his path on the way to an unprecedented Gran...
All 4 major tournaments here; Solid; intense online modes; Classic matches are superb
Too-easy-at-start Career; Loading menus take forever; Hyper-repetitive commentary

Only tennis game with all four Grand Slam venues; Various control options that are all easy to grasp; Great roster of classic players
Weak career mode; Only a few court locations; Female roster lacks top stars
EA Sports take on Sega's mighty Virtua Tennis 4
this is an EA title. this is a Pre-Aids EA title. Grand Slam Tennis 2 like most EA titles from the time, is a mix between realism and arcade ish gameplay. the graphics are surprisingly good. the sound is not so good.
