Google’s Android Smartphone, the Pixel XL, has been specially designed by the search engine giant to accommodate their newest OS versions. It runs Nougat like a pro as well as earlier versions of Android’s operating system. Google didn’t hold back on the aesthetics either. You’ll also get an onboard memory of 32GB for storage (this is not upgradeable, but larger onboard memory versions of the phone are available). The motivation behind this Smartphone was to introduce Android users to their latest version 7.1 (aka Nougat), which is now available for upgrading other Android-compatible phones. However, Google wanted this particular phone to highlight the advancement of their operating system—and they’ve succeeded!
Google have not forgotten about camera functionality on the Google Pixel XL. The 12.3MP camera with dual-LED flash will make your photos crisp & clear, boasting a high resolution for close shots and distant ones. The video recording function also delivers high resolution depending on your settings. Choose between 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps and 720p@240fps. With these great features, there’s no reason to be sceptical about Google’s new phone. They clearly know what they are doing.

The Google Pixel is a very good smartphone, but it's also very expensive. It starts at ￡719 for the 32GB Pixel and runs up to ￡819 for the 128GB Pixel XL. Those are iPhone 7 and 7 Plus prices for a phone whose predecessors from the Nexus range were best known for their unbeatable bang-for-buck.

Without a doubt, the Pixel XL and its little brother, the Pixel, are both very good smartphones in our opinion. Although the change of name from Nexus to Pixel implies dramatic changes to the smartphone, the reality is that Pixel phones hardly differ from the previous Nexus smartphones.- Brilliant display

The Google Pixel XL is a very good phone. It's camera is great, it's snappy, has the latest version of Android and will get updates first, it's powerful and lasts over a day between charges. Despite its size it's also relatively easy to use one-handed and it's well made.- Android 7.1 Nougat

Best phone yet
Had a HTC 10 but drowned it. The Pixel XL so far is great. The finger print scanner on the back works extremely well. The camera and video quality the best yet, with the quick launch of either by long pressing the camera app is a great feature.

The Pixel XL is a bit of a puzzle. A ￡719 puzzle that I'm not sure I've managed to solve after a week of using one. Right now, though, the OnePlus 3 is still the best value Android phone - it's half the price of the XL, but matches it for build quality and a near-stock version of Android.- Fast camera that takes quality snaps
