Pixel XL has some solid hardware packed in a sweet and simple exterior casing. Only issue with the phone was with its inbuilt mic which stopped working after two months of the purchase (not from Amazon). HTC is the original manufacturer and it took a week for them to "repair" the phone.

The software is amazing. The camera is stunning. The battery life is beyond belief. You get free storage for ALL your pictures and videos. Google offers 24/7 round the clock support, meaning any issues can be resolved right away, and Google Assistant is the smartest Personal Assistant available...

I've owned Samsung products for the past five years, beginning with the Galaxy S3, then the Note 4, and finally the S7 Edge. I was happy with the S3 and the Note 4, but the S7 Edge was terrible.

I literally lost my job because of this phone. Second day on it, I found the setting to have the phone vibrate when getting a phone call is off by default, even if the phone is set to silent. I missed some important phone calls.

Firstly i would like to request Everyone to ignore all the negative comments in here. I use every phone in real depth and i give all the feedbacks after the benchmark results of the devices. Comparing this device with iPhones is completely rubbish.

It's been 5 months since I started using a Google Pixel XL and, like no other phone before it, I can't imagine switching to any other device. While it's quite possible the newest wave of smartphones from brands like Samsung and LG will out-style and out-display the Pixel with their newest devices...

Could benefit from wireless charging; Front-facing speakers would be best; Availability should've been solid from the start; Android File Transfer should work or be replaced

Google pulled the covers off its newest smartphone creations earlier this month - the Pixel and the Pixel XL . The new devices mark a departure from the Nexus line that has served the company well for so long, bringing high-end specs and prices to match.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL lack waterproofing and the outstanding battery lives of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge – and unlike Nexus phones, they're no longer bargains. But overall, the new Google handsets are excellent premium phones, offering a great screen, good performance and battery...

With such a big price difference, it's hard to recommend buying the Google Pixel XL here. For a lot less money you get the same Snapdragon 821 processor, premium design and large battery. Add in that OnePlus gets your more storage and RAM and you have a flagship killer.
