Google Pixel XL

At $769 (or $869 if you go with the 128GB model, which you should), the Google Pixel XL is priced to compete with the highest-end phones on the market. And in most regards, it's a success.

Fast Snapdragon 821 processor; Sharp display; Latest Android 7.1 software and guaranteed updates; Excellent camera; Promising Google Assistant functionality; 24/7 live help

No waterproofing; expandable storage; or wireless charging

Google Pixel XL Review: Taking Android to New Heights

Editors' Note: This review focuses on the Pixel XL. Read our Pixel review for a more in-depth look at Google's 5-inch phone. After watching other manufacturers attempt to deliver a pure Android experience with the Nexus for years, Google has taken total control with the Pixel.

Fantastic camera; stunning image stabilization; Superb Google Assistant; Great performance; Strong battery life; Built-in support and unlimited storage in Google Photos

Disappointing design; OK audio; No microSD card slot

Google continuously trying to build an ecosystem to connect each and every device, first from software and now with a combination of hardware and software. But the price of Pixel is 67000 which is still very expensive for Google's Pixel and it is very hard for it to convince the Apple iPhone users...

Good camera and battery backup; Sharp Display; Sound Quality; unlimited cloud storage for photos and videos

high price; low storage

Has been wearing a Silver variant for a while, it looks sharp over layer but there are two disadvantages of the silver variant, because it is extremely slippery so it slides very easily and can easily slide out of the hand if it is not prepared for it to slip, but the most negative are the...

Google Pixel XL Review: Successfully Succeeding the Nexus

There's a lot to like here. Google is making a second attempt at a first impression. For folks most concerned about software performance, we think they'll be very pleased with what they get. Seriously. The Pixel XL is a screamer when paging around the UI.

Phenomenal UI Performance; Eye Catching Rear Design; Excellent Camera Auto Software; Best in Class Voice Assistant; Very Good Battery Life and Recharging Speeds

Pricier than the Nexus it replaces; Poor Camera Lens Quality; Camera software ignores more experienced users; Poor Headphone Quality

Display - XL The first major difference that we find on the Google Pixel XL is a larger 5.5" AMOLED displayed. This gives the user an extra half inch of screen to enjoy and its inclusion only adds 11mm to its height and 6mm to its width.

Goodbye Samsung. Hello Google!

I've owned Samsung products for the past five years, beginning with the Galaxy S3, then the Note 4, and finally the S7 Edge. I was happy with the S3 and the Note 4, but the S7 Edge was terrible.

Terrible Phone

I literally lost my job because of this phone. Second day on it, I found the setting to have the phone vibrate when getting a phone call is off by default, even if the phone is set to silent. I missed some important phone calls.

Premium performance, Premium price... Service not so Premium.

Pixel XL has some solid hardware packed in a sweet and simple exterior casing. Only issue with the phone was with its inbuilt mic which stopped working after two months of the purchase (not from Amazon). HTC is the original manufacturer and it took a week for them to "repair" the phone.

Smooth as silk.

Smoothest device I have ever owned. The only thing I can complain about is it's not waterproof. I went from the Note 7 to the Pixel XL and haven't regretted it at all.
