The Pixel Buds Pro ($199.99) are Google's answer to Apple's AirPods Pro ($249). In their favor, the Pixel Buds Pro offer very good active noise cancellation (ANC), a bass-forward and bright music experience, and responsive on-ear controls. You even get helpful Google Translate features and hands-free Google Assistant access. But oddly, the pair doesn’t support the AptX codec, which means you're stuck with either the inefficient (on Android) AAC or standard SBC codecs. Furthermore, the app doesn’t include a customizable EQ, which is something we expect at this price.
