Google Pixel 4 review: Delight and frustration
The Pixel 4 is a more or less equal mixture of delight and frustration. It's impressive in all the ways we've come to expect from Google's devices; the aforementioned camera is the unquestionable highlight, and some of the software features are incredibly clever.
Pros:
- Fantastic camera
- Smart software features
Cons:
- No fingerprint sensor
- Terrible battery life
- Low starting storage allocation

Google Pixel 4 review: Shooting for the stars
The Google Pixel 4 not only looks and feels great, it has a brilliant camera for taking great photos. This, as with its predecessor, is what really sells the home-grown Google experience.
Pros:
- Great camera performance
- Pure Android software
- Exclusive smart features
- We love the tactile design - especially in Just White and Oh So Orange
- Great (albeit small) display
Cons:
- Battery life really isn't its strong suit
- Motion Sense gestures add little to nothing
- No wide-angle camera
- No third-party face unlock support - and no fingerprint scanner as backup

- Weak battery, Big bezel, No fingerprint scanner

Google Pixel 4 Review: no longer at the smartphone forefront
Short-winded. The Pixel 4 features almost no real updates save for a touchless gesture control feature and a 90 Hz panel. Otherwise, the device can be considered mostly a facelift. Unfortunately, it no longer features a fingerprint reader and the battery has decreased in capacity.

- ...lacking display brightness boost, no Wi-Fi 6, meager storage capacity without expandability options, poor battery life, poor screen-to-body ratio

A great camera isnât enough to justify the high price
The Pixel 4 has one of the best cameras around, but it's expensive given its limited amount of storage. If you want more storage and a comparable camera, consider the OnePlus 7T or Galaxy S10, or the Pixel 3, which is only $500 right now.
Pros:
- The Pixel 4's dual rear cameras take brilliant photos and its display's high refresh rate makes navigating silky smooth. The phone will get prompt software updates and its face unlock works really fast.
Cons:
- The phone doesn't come with earbuds, it has no expandable storage option and its battery life is mediocre.

Google Pixel 4 (128GB, White) AU - Excellent review
Coming in as one of the least expensive of any of the flagships this year, the Pixel 4 XL offers a couple of pretty compelling reasons to check it out, mostly focusing on the price and camera prowess.
Pros:
- Feels lovely in the hands, Performs very well, Lovely screen, Portrait mode is still one of the best, Night mode is excellent, Good value, Water resistance, Wireless charging
Cons:
- Doesn't feel like much of an upgrade from last year, Screen has large bezels for a 2019 phone, Low amount of storage, Battery life isn't amazing, Facial security can be easily tricked, Front-facing camera isn't as versatile as last year
