Google Pixel 3 XL review

The Pixel 3 XL is a great smartphone, but unlike last year’s XL offering, it isn’t necessarily the best Google phone – the smaller, cheaper Pixel 3 is in many ways a better phone.
Pros:
  • Pros: super smooth and fluid performance, great screen, squeezable sides, Android 9 Pie and 3 years of updates, water resistant, fantastic camera, wireless charging
Cons:
  • Cons: massive notch, no expandable storage or removable battery, no headphone jack, no face recognition, quite big and slippery

Perhaps ironically, software has always been the central conceit to what Google has offered with the first two generations of Pixel hardware. Try as you might, there's no shying away from this fact. Sure, the hardware is solid and delightfully minimalist but it's nothing unique.
Pros:
  • Incredible photography
  • Slick software
Cons:
  • Kinda boring hardware
  • Less battery life than the competition

Google Pixel 3XL review: The search for the best camera phone ends here

The Google Pixel 3XL is all about improvements. Not on the hardware side though. It could come as a disappointment that for a smartphone that begins at Rs 83,000, it is unfortunately not as flagship-looking as others. Adding to it is how easily it can get scratched.
