This means that they don't look like a million dollars, compared to those phones which feature glass backs and shiny metal highlights, but they feel instantly premium. More importantly, the focus from Google - undeniably - has been function, rather than a fancy package.

The Google Pixel 2 launched at Rs 61,000 and it made no sense to buy it at that time. However, the prices have dropped and I've seen Flipkart selling it for as low as Rs 39,999. At that price, it makes for a great premium compact smartphone.

Upgraded from a Nexus 5x, about 3 weeks ago. What a great phone! Don't let the size fool you. The phone runs so smoothly and effortlessly. Apps that I thought were fast on my old phone are 10x faster. And so far, the battery life is incredible!
