Cut the cord!
Got rid of cable an I am not looking back. Bought two of these for my two upstairs TV's. Got the smallest subscription to Playstation vue that really has all the channels I watch. Love that my kids can also cast their iPads to the TV and watch youtube videos on a bigger screen instead of the iPad.

Plugged it in, turned it on, downloaded the software and the extra icon in many programs lets me display on the TV. Too easy. It's great.
See anything on TV wirelessly!
Its a great buy. Only cons: 1. Doesn't work without internet 2. Casting Laptop screen is laborious and sometimes doesn't even work meaning video is casted but Audio plays from Laptop. These are acceptable as they say the casting is experimental anyway. 3.
Sooo easy
Turn any tv into a Smart TV with this little device. So easy, just plug it into an HDMI outlet on your TV, download the app to your phone and start watching any online content with the chromecast icon. No need for bulky converter boxes or additional remotes. Fantastic.
Freezes & Random Reboots nonstop
Good idea but horrible piece of hardware. My Chromecast 2 either reboots or freezes at least 10 times for every 1 hour video I attempt to cast to my TV. I have tried resetting to factory condition & starting over numerous times. I have tried putting my laptop very close to my TV.- Great picture & sound when it works

At Rs. 3,399, the Chromecast 2 is a good buy, as long as you're streaming a lot of content from your smartphone. The performance is better than its predecessor, and it can turn your dumb old TV into a smarter one. You may not want to go back to watching traditional TV once you've used this.- Good design
