See anything on TV wirelessly!
Its a great buy. Only cons: 1. Doesn't work without internet 2. Casting Laptop screen is laborious and sometimes doesn't even work meaning video is casted but Audio plays from Laptop. These are acceptable as they say the casting is experimental anyway. 3.
Plugged it in, turned it on, downloaded the software and the extra icon in many programs lets me display on the TV. Too easy. It's great.
Cut the cord!
Got rid of cable an I am not looking back. Bought two of these for my two upstairs TV's. Got the smallest subscription to Playstation vue that really has all the channels I watch. Love that my kids can also cast their iPads to the TV and watch youtube videos on a bigger screen instead of the iPad.

Doesn't connect to Bluetooth
I purchased because I was tired of connecting my computer to my bedroom TV to watch Netflix. The problem is that the Chromecast doesn't connect to my Bluetooth speakers. So now I'm in between connecting my computer for good sound or using the Chromecast with lousy the TV speakers (no audio out).
"Does the job"
Works as intended. Purchased to replace an old Samsung allshare which was overheating with HD videos and causing issues. The Chromecast gets hot to the touch however doesn't seem to have any issues with the videos.
