Hilarious addition to any games collection.
I love being a goat
Goat Simulator is a game jam joke entry that garnered such interest from the public, Sanctum developer Coffee Stain Studios decided to release it anyway, forgoing polish and labelling it "small, stupid, and broken". Is your money better spent on a hula-hoop, as that developer suggests?
Wide open, frequently hilarious gameplay; A slo-mo button; Goat flips; Mad mod potential.
Not the prettiest; Some clipping bugs result in respawns; Largely undirected play is not for everyone
Title: Goat Simulator Developer and Publisher: Coffee Stain Studios Platform(s): PC (reviewed) Genre: Simulation Price: $10 (Steam) Goat Simulator. Naming this game as GO(A)TY certainly wouldn't be amiss.
Coffee Stain Studios has zero expectations for their new game, Goat Simulator. On their website, they even go as far as to say their game is broken. "Goat Simulator is a small, broken and stupid game. It was made in a couple of weeks so don't expect a game in the size and scope of GTA with goats.
You destroy stuff as a goat; what's not to like
It's a bit of a buggy mess; but it's a fun buggy mess
Goat Simulator is a joke of a game. It's small, deliberately unpolished and buggy, and its design is simple. So it's a good thing it's a really funny joke, full of great physics-powered slapstick humor, and unexpected surprises in every corner of its seemingly peaceful small-town map.
Great comedy; Breakable stuff; Dense map; Jetpack goat
Non-interactive stuff
The game itself is brilliant. However, I feel burned because I ordered a physical disc and it still is considered a lease- even with contradictory statements in the packaging. What the game industry is doing is wrong!
If foolishness had a face, it'd be one of a goat, with its tongue dangling from its mouth.
Non-sensical humour; Stupid music; Plenty of challenge
Not very rich on content; Long gaming sessions could cause nausea because of the camera
I have to admit, sitting here starting my review of Goat Simulator, I realize it's not the easiest title to review. For starters, it's not exactly a full game. Rather, it's an intentionally glitchy (often to greatly entertaining effect) joke prototype game that the developers themselves humbly...
Good game, just what my nephew was after.
