Great an fast
This little unit takes amazing photos and videos. My favorite part of it is how fast you are able to use it as a point and shoot camera and I found it to be a lot of fun to take blind photos in angles that I would not have previously tried.

Do not buy this product
I bought this camera as a small compact waterproof model and, according to GoPro, a simple to use product. It is absolutely not simple, it is fiddly and the controls are not intuitive.
Cons:
- Fiddly
- Very hard to change settings

GoPro Hero5 Session Review
The Hero5 Session cuts down on size and weight, without sacrificing video quality.
Pros:
- Great design
- Fast
- responsive app
- Digital image stabilization
- 4K resolution
- Waterproof to 33 feet without a case
Cons:
- Aggressive wind cancelling lowers audio quality
- 4K difference not always noticeable
- No removable battery

Poor quality!
Used four times (and was always well aware it's not made of steel) and then the screw fix holder at the top snaps off! (Was also well aware not to over tighten the bracket during use) Would save your money and look for some other alternative!

Cool toy!
Very cool. My daughters' have had lots of fun at the beach and pool. The software is weak, disappointing that the application isn't as nice.

Several times I have tried to use it to on jobs and it pretty much does what it likes
This is a remarkable piece of kit when it's working but it is SOOOO unreliable that I can't really use it for anything involving a client. Several times I have tried to use it to on jobs and it pretty much does what it likes, stops and starts recording randomly missing whole chunks of the action.

Hero 5 Sessions has great aerodynamics for wing mounting!
I was hoping the new Sessions would have less vibration on the wing of my plane and it does! The video looks great and I'm so glad I upgraded to a 4k Hero 5 Sessions camera.

The GoPro Hero 5 Session may look the same as its predecessor, but it now boasts 4k image quality, voice control, video stabilisation and a USB-C connection, as well as updated and increased frame rates and resolutions.
Pros:
- Very good image quality
- low weight
- tiny size
- simple usability
Cons:
- Poor cold-weather performance
- unrefined image stabilisation

Over complicated set up!
Good little camera with loads of features and good picture quality. However; I always find the gopro mount system a bit strange and bit of a fiddle, genuine gopro mounts expensive too.

Battery Life.......
The picture quality is great, but it better be for the price. Lack of interchangeable batteries is this unit's Achilles heel. Even at lowest settings, 120 minutes battery life is beyond it's limit. At max settings, ~40 minutes. NOT WORTH IT FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE!
