Bought this some time ago but it still is a good price compared to performance. Especially after upgrading from an overpriced nGTX580.

I won't bore you with figures bit needless to say this card has run every game i have on full resoloution (4k) and doesn't make any noise unless i manually put the fan to a high setting. As usual gigabyte has a high build quality.
This is a nice graphic card but it is not my favorite. It do the job well. It was my first Gigabyte graphic card ever and compare to my other Asus gpu, it run hotter (about 70c vs 60c for my asus strix) and make a little noise when under load.
If like me, you want an easy plug and play graphics card then buy this, the extra hdmi ports are very useful, can play most games at high / medium settings and the cost isn't stupidly high.
As usual from B&H the best pricing and service I can find. Always ships fast and precise orders, and quick access to B&H over the phone for any questions. I know this is a review of the merchandise which for these products are already market proven, however B&H adds to the ease of procurement and...
No i haven't bought the card and i never will no matter how powerful it is since it costs only 46k outside then why should we pay 50% extra, mind you that's 50% i am talking about.
Delivers competitive performance to other popular vendor-overclocked GTX 1080s while costing a bit less and running cooler. Unless you're wanting to go much past 2GHz clock speeds, this is a fantasticly good pick.
- Great performer out of the box; Won't even break a sweat at 1080p and does great at 2K resolutions with ultra detail settings; - Plenty of room to overclock; Using MSI Afterburner, I was able to hit 1950 MHz core / 5375 MHz memory (effective) at 108% power without even touching the...
- Fans get a bit noisy once they spin up past 60-70%; - Has a very small amount of coil whine - Only has one 8-pin connector, which implies that it might not overclock to the ragged edge (2GHz+) quite as well as some other 1080s
Basically, this card runs 4k about as good as the GTX 980 ran 1440p. It runs overwatch with every single setting maxed out except for Dynamic reflections turned down one notch at 4k and solid 60 fps. (This is sort of a combination betwen the presets ULTRA and EPIC.
Performance
Price; Xtreme gaming app required for factory "OC" mode
The card worked great. I had one fan die after about 9 months or so. Now all three are dead at just over a year after purchase. Needless to say, I won't be buying gigabyte GPU's again.
The new Pascal GPU based products from Nvidia are a bit of a hit, and while I do think the GeForce GTX 1070 is going to be the more popular product over the 1080 due to pricing, there obviously will be many 1080 aficionados out there as well.
