DO NOT BUY too slow to play games. Get GDDR5 version 2x faster same price

A good choice for someone wanting dedicated graphics for their system but does not want to spend a fortune. Will run some older games OK.

There's a good reason why this is the only GT 1030 from Gigabyte that PB Tech sells -- price! They realise some people prioritize price above all things; BUT be very careful, at ANY price this is a waste of money --- there're more than enough reviews around highlighting the false economy of getting this card with lower performing RAM -- it simply doesn't do the same job as the DDR5 model -- performance twice as better as this card for very little difference in price. It simply won't be able to play the games that the GT 1030 is known for.

This was something of an emergency replacement for an older PC, and it worked like a charm. Just as good as its predecessor, and with a much lower size and power profile.

If you want this for low end gaming, don't get it. It's rubbish. Good for surfing the net and office.
