I loved gears 1 and 2 and bought both on release so getting this was a no brainer. And its a let down I was after a grand finale and this isnt it . The multiplayer is identical to two and the campaign is just boring after a while, the graphics that everybody raves over are also nothing special .

Not Notch game all round, but for me it's like playing the first 2 games, getting a bit boring for me now and don't think I'll be playing the next one A+.

To call Gears of War 3 one of the most anticipated games of the year for the Xbox 360 is a bit of an understatement. Microsoft has been throwing Gears parties for months to create a frenzy and it appears their work is paying off.

When it comes down to it 'Raam's Shadow' has enough twists to dull out the pain of the B-Listing Zeta Squad. While the price tag might be a little steep, the gameplay makes up for its asking price.

It all began a number of years ago at E3, in a darkened VIP room filled with developers and press attendees. The Outcast and I were to have a hands on demo of Epic and Microsoft's new game franchise: Gears of War.

There are gamers out there that complain about "tacked-on" multiplayer components. The most recent example that I can think of is Mass Effect 3 (a game we haven't actually seen yet, so complaining isn't quite fair), and last year's Bioshock 2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

In the beginning, I didn't like this game. I had not played the previous Gears titles and as soon as I started I found the controls hard to get used to and clumsy. Fortunately I persevered, and as time went on Act I found I didn't want to put it down.
