Back in the day I would say Gears of War 3 is a game that warrants the purchase of an Xbox360. Today after seeing how Microsoft has been doling out nothing much casual stuff in recent times, I can happily say it is now the game that has managed to redeem the Xbox360.

Gears of War is back and after a short recap of what happened in the first two games we're quickly surprised, astonished and totally immersed in the o so well-known but still addictive gameplay.

Third-person shooter Emergence Day comes early. was a disappointment. I'm not a multiplayer type of guy so I can't really comment on that side of things but as someone who played through the original in co-op on numerous occasions the campaign in was tedious with a really weak ending.

When Gears of War debuted, it used Mad World as marketing . Monsters and rubble and darkness, that was the backdrop used to invoke hopelessness, desertion, war, and sadness in the time of the Coalition of Ordered Governments .

What we have here ladies and gentlemen is a proper addition to a fabulous shooter franchise, crammed from top to bottom with content that's guaranteed to keep you occupied for hours. Gears of War 3 is a game you'll surely want to add to your collection.

This is the third time we play Gears of War and we still love it

The series has come to its peek and it's starting to feel a bit stale altogether
