Great all-round watch
Originally bought the touch screen Garmin VivoSmart, but returned it and bought this instead. Touch screen sounds like it would be a good idea, but in practice it's better to be able to feel the start/stop button.

Garmin Forerunner 235 review
These days we expect running watches to be more than distance and pace trackers. Increasingly, we want them to coach us too, with insights on how to improve form and train smarter.
Pros:
- Resting heart rate insights
- Sharp looks
- lightweight design
- Good value
Cons:
- Intermittent syncing issues
- A bit plastic
- Sleep tracking needs work

Garmin Forerunner 235 review
Despite the flaws of the Garmin Connect app, the Forerunner 235 is one of the better GPS running watches on the market. Its relatively subtle black model can pass for daywear, and the accuracy and reliability of GPS tracing are second to none. But if you want an app that is easy to get to grips with and immediately encourages you to train up to a certain distance, then you may prefer the Polar M430. The Forerunner 235 is designed with all running abilities in mind, but ends up feeling more for elite enthusiasts than it should.

Garmin Forerunner 235: Comprehensive but slightly flawed
Somehow, Garmin has managed to carve itself a reputation as the first and last word in running watches. The Forerunner 235, confusingly, is an example of both why that reputation is richly deserved and why the company is there for the taking with the right device.
Pros:
- Oodles of features
- Fantastically comprehensive app
- Highly customisable display
Cons:
- Iffy mid-run accuracy

Had for 3 months and HRM green light that apparently calibrates the IR sensors broke. Hellish time trying to find support and Amazon directed me back to Garmin, whom answered by email, and were pretty helpful, only to conclude it was also broken. They will not upgrade it to a more powerful device.

Garmin Forerunner 235 GPS Watch
I purchased this watch hoping for a good running watch with passable activity tracking. After all, if I wanted an activity tracker, I wouldn't have purchased a watch that is specifically meant for running, right

I am just getting more seriously into running and this watch has been a great purchase. Tracks all of the things that I wanted, GPS seems to be extremely active. Easy to navigate. The look of it is nice. I don't wear it all day as it is a little big and too sporty, but love the look for running.

An expensive toy rather than a tool for runners
The HRM is not even close to being accurate on this watch. Up to 40 to 50bpm different to several other watches that I compared it to. In addition, it sometimes does not work at all giving an resting reading (60bpm) during intense exercise.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- No Indoor Bike activity
- Inaccurate HRM
- Expensive

Faulty product
I can't believe littlewoods sent me a faulty item. When I took the watch out of the bag, it looked like it had already previously been opened. Took the watch out of the packaging and it wouldn't turn on, thought I may had to charge it up first, I've had an older version of a garmin watch before so...

Its good but i would like some extra features as i dont get outside to ride all the time it dosnt read if im on a stationary bike nor does it read when im doing weights. Not the greatest for swimming either. Only really good for running.
