- Resting heart rate insights

Good for running & cycling
This Garmin 235 watch is an improvement over my previous 610 model. It picks up the satellite quickly & has improved battery life. I use it for running, cycling & link easily via Bluetooth to Strava.

Garmin Forerunner 235: Comprehensive but slightly flawed
Somehow, Garmin has managed to carve itself a reputation as the first and last word in running watches. The Forerunner 235, confusingly, is an example of both why that reputation is richly deserved and why the company is there for the taking with the right device.
Pros:
- Oodles of features
- Fantastically comprehensive app
- Highly customisable display
Cons:
- Iffy mid-run accuracy

Great watch!
I'm really satisfied with the accuracy of the Garmin Forerunner 235. The watch is very easy to use and includes a variety of functions and activities for me to monitor besides my daily steps and miles ran.

Garmin Forerunner 235 review
Despite the flaws of the Garmin Connect app, the Forerunner 235 is one of the better GPS running watches on the market. Its relatively subtle black model can pass for daywear, and the accuracy and reliability of GPS tracing are second to none. But if you want an app that is easy to get to grips with and immediately encourages you to train up to a certain distance, then you may prefer the Polar M430. The Forerunner 235 is designed with all running abilities in mind, but ends up feeling more for elite enthusiasts than it should.

GPS watch that can track a variety of activities and…
The Garmin Forerunner 235 falls in the middle of its wrist-worn GPS units. Garmin sells a few less-expensive fitness trackers and running watches; the 235 is a step up from those in terms of advanced function for runners.
Pros:
- Stand-alone GPS
- Waterproof
- Serious ability to collect data about activities
- Can add apps
- Great battery life
- Reasonable price
Cons:
- Not as many functions as more expensive models

Excellent watch with a small caveat
Functionally this watch is excellent and it does much more than what Im looking for: run and bike tracking and general fitness tracking. With little or no GPS use it uses less than 10% of battery life per day so it could last a couple of weeks on a charge. I havent had it long enough to find out.

device restarts n resets by itself .
The device restarts by itself and the heart data and the steps and all the activities are lost on regular basis . As said by other reviewers , the seller sends the defective device .

Excellent Running Watch
I upgraded to the Forerunner 235 from a Fitbit. I love having my pace onscreen during my runs and love all the features. The watch is user friendly but a little bit more technical.

Good watch
Its good but i would like some extra features as i dont get outside to ride all the time it dosnt read if im on a stationary bike nor does it read when im doing weights. Not the greatest for swimming either. Only really good for running.
