Great watch!

I'm really satisfied with the accuracy of the Garmin Forerunner 235. The watch is very easy to use and includes a variety of functions and activities for me to monitor besides my daily steps and miles ran.

Garmin Forerunner 235: Comprehensive but slightly flawed

Somehow, Garmin has managed to carve itself a reputation as the first and last word in running watches. The Forerunner 235, confusingly, is an example of both why that reputation is richly deserved and why the company is there for the taking with the right device.
Pros:
  • Oodles of features
  • Fantastically comprehensive app
  • Highly customisable display
Cons:
  • Iffy mid-run accuracy

This Garmin 235 watch is an improvement over my previous 610 model. It picks up the satellite quickly & has improved battery life. I use it for running, cycling & link easily via Bluetooth to Strava.

Very stylish for a running watch.

This was a gift for my husband to update his old Garmin Forerunner with more functions to help provide him with a more accurate record of his running. He finds the automatic downloads much easier and has had many people commenting on how stylish it is.

Great all-round watch

Originally bought the touch screen Garmin VivoSmart, but returned it and bought this instead. Touch screen sounds like it would be a good idea, but in practice it's better to be able to feel the start/stop button.

Pros:
  • Battery life is great, charges real fast
  • GPS out side on a run works perfect
  • Not the best on treadmill though
  • Everything works like it should, very happy with mine especially since it was bought on special
Cons:
  • Wish it was a little smaller to suit the female arm
  • Making the screen smaller would still be ok I believe

Great watch, but very fragile

I love this product for running. I haven't used the cycling, but had heard it was good for swimming. After I bought it, that wasn't true. I didn't use it for it, though, just found out by reading the instructions. I am on my second watch since February, but I need to exchange it again.
