Quality of the Drive 51LMT-S unit is disappointing compared to three other Garmin GPS units I've previously owned (Nuvi 350, Nuvi 44 and Nuvi 44LM). Lenovo W520 laptops USB 2.0 ports would not charge to full capacity nor allow the unit turn on to show the map screen.

Great Garmin user interface - Quite responsive

A smartphone link is needed for live traffic updates. This is a negative step compared with the previous model of this satnav. However, once set up it works well. I bought it a week ago and tried in on a short journey near my home. It does't even pick up a simple postcode in UK and not even my home postcode. And it completely missed out to give instructions on a mini round about. Came back home and sent it back to where it belongs. Thanks

I really love this product for many reasons; the first one is how easy it is to set up and use. When I received the product, the first thing I did was update the maps. It took about an hour to download them. I had a minor problem while downloading - my device froze up.

This is my first sat nav, the shop had to order it for home delivery as they did not have one; it arrived the next day. It is very easy to use and the screen is big enough without being too intrusive. We tested it driving to the Lake District in September.

Gets me from Point A to Point B. Even estimates time of arrival.

I bought this for my wife for her car as it is so easy to use and priced well from Harvey Norman. I have been a big Garmin fan for many years and this car GPS has their same high quality and I would definitely recommend :)
