Fujifilm X-T200 Mirrorless Camera with 15-45mm Lens - Dark Silver XT200SLK(DS) review

The X-T200 updates the X-T100 in a number of useful ways. 4K video recording has been greatly improved, offering 30,25,24fps video recording and a microphone socket has been added to the side.

Fujifilm X-T200 Mirrorless Camera with 15-45mm Lens - Dark Silver XT200SLK(DS) review

A vast improvement over its predecessor, the X-T200 makes for a solid entry-level interchangeable lens camera thanks to improved autofocus and its big vari-angle touchscreen.

Good image quality; Selection of XF lenses further opens the door to quality; Improved autofocus over predecessor - includes Face/Eye detection; Big vari-angle touchscreen

Still some autofocus foibles; Feels like the X-series outlier - lack of distinctive controls and X-Trans CMOS sensor; Power-zoom included in kit lens box has aperture limitations

Fujifilm X-T200 Mirrorless Camera with 15-45mm Lens - Dark Silver XT200SLK(DS) review

For most people looking to up their photography game and burst into the world of mirrorless cameras, I think the X-T200 is a perfect option

Great pictures; Large articulating screen; 4k Video

Power zoom is not ideal; I wish the battery was better; Thin dials

Fujifilm X-T200 review

The X-T200 doesn’t really do anything we haven’t seen before in other cameras, but as a package for £750 it feels like a winner. Who needs bleeding edge innovation when you’ve got great-looking photos and pin-sharp 4K videos from a compact, lightweight and eminently flexible and easy-to-use camera that won’t break the bank? If you’re upgrading from an older system camera or looking to make the leap from compact or mobile photography to something a bit more involved, the X-T200 might just be the ideal investment.

Great stills quality; Sharp 4K video; Lightweight and compact;

Underwhelming digital gimbal;
