A significant upgrade from the XT1

"Having shot many weddings with the XT1, I was excited about getting the XT2. I was lucky to walk into Henry's on the day of the XT2's release (when the store first opened) and purchase the only one they had in stock that wasn't slotted for a pre-order.

Fantastic camera

This is a wonderful camera. I used its predecessor the XT-1 for two years before I broke my own rule never to fix something if it isn't broken. The XT-1 was a replacement for Nikons and I was looking for something much lighter to lug around.

Fujifilm X-T2 review: The definition of a great camera

  • Best-in-class ergonomics
  • Outstanding image quality
  • Capable 4K video mode
Cons:

Fujifilm X-T2 review: A new benchmark for the mirrorless market

It took us about three minutes to fall in love with the Fujifilm X-T1 . So when we were first shown the Fujifilm X-T2 back in July it only took us about three seconds. In many ways the X-T2 is the most advanced compact system camera offering we've seen, its goal firmly set on being the best...
Pros:
  • Comprehensive continuous autofocus system not seen by other CSCs to date
  • great electric viewfinder
  • optional grip enhances performance considerably
  • tweaked design with larger dials but retaining retro appeal
Cons:
  • Still no touchscreen
  • 3-directional LCD screen switch is fussy
  • toggles around dials are too small
  • need grip for many higher-end features
  • no price just yet
  • could do with some more detailed single autofocus options
