FujiFilm X Pro-2
I see a good number of professional photographers at a range of events and while a lot of them have Canon offerings there are also Olympus and Fujicameras. Here I get to try a recent mirrorless compact system camera that is very much in their professional range which really pushes my knowledge – or...

The X-Pro2 is a 24MP high-end X-mount camera whose appeal is inextricably linked to its innovative optical/electronic hybrid viewfinder. It offers excellent image quality and some of the best out-of-camera JPEGs on the market, and comes in a well built, elegant body with plenty of direct control.

Fujifilm X-Pro2 review: my favorite camera
Fujifilm's new X-Pro2 is a tough camera to review by any ordinary metric - it's an exotic tool that defies rational purchasing decisions. There are cameras in its price range that will give you better image quality, and there are cheaper cameras - even from Fujifilm - that offer more features.
Pros:
- Incomparable viewfinder
- Awesome focus joystick
- Excellent image quality and performance
Cons:
- Fiddly ISO dial
- Smaller EVF than X-T1
- No tilt-screen

Review: Fujifilm X-Pro2
The world isn't exactly short of fantastic compact system cameras, but every so often one comes along that manages to stand out from the pack. The X-Pro2 does exactly that.

FIRST LOOK: Fujifilm X-Pro2
In looks and handling the X-Pro2 combines familiar functionality with improvements to handling that combine with the camera's increased sensor resolution to present strong arguments for updating from earlier X-series models.

Fujifilm X-Pro2 review: Pro perfection?
When the Fujifilm X-Pro1 burst onto the camera scene its retro digital rangefinder style was like a pleasurable punch to the face; the kind of kipper-slap that left us, and many, a bit tingly around the chops and hungry for more.
Pros:
- Exceptional image quality at 24MP
- impressive autofocus for a compact system camera (including continuous AF)
- exemplary viewfinder setup unlike any other
- quality build with manual control dials, new joystick control, dual SD card slots
Cons:
- Exposure compensation lacks lock
- no tilt/vari-angle or touch-based LCD
- limited battery life
- slow to kick-in for eye-level activation / from sleep mode
- still a fairly small range of XF lenses, front dial not much use, no 4K video

Review: FujiFilm X-Pro2
It's been barely five years since FujiFilm plunged into the consumer camera market with the fixed-lens X100, and a mere four years since the company's flagship X-Pro1 hit the market.
Pros:
- A photographer's camera, and the most fully realized camera in Fuji's X series
- Phase-detection autofocus system has improved speed and AF-point resolution
- New 24-megapixel sensor is on par with many full-frame chips.
Cons:
- The weakest point is battery life
- It sucks
- Extra batteries are mandatory
- The EVF is OK, but not not as vibrant as the XT-1
