Worth waiting on a wait list for this to come in stock. Great camera, neat small easy to handle. I chose the Brown version. The camera is well made, I love the new lens too. Picture quality is excellent, with the usual wonderful Fuji colours.

Just bought this little cam and found so much impressive with my photo. So colorful and super sharp!!!
For someone that comes from a cell phone, the XA5 will be a good first camera. For someone who is more use to the performance of a DSLR, higher end mirrorless, the XA5 will be a disappointment. Image quality is good in good light but not stellar and does not blow me away.
perfect quality, helpful argos
The X-A5 is a nice little snapshooters' camera that provides above-average resolution for stills capture across a decent range of ISO settings. The flip-up monitor works well for 'selfies' and the touch screen is easy to use, although recording movies can become a point-and-pray exercise in bright...
This camera produces the best color images I've seen! The price was great and I love the retro look! I highly recommend it!
The Fujifilm X-A5 isn't really designed for experienced photographers, but rather for Instagramers, lifestyle photographers and ‘life-loggers' who want a step up in quality and features from a smartphone – and the X-A5 certainly delivers on that front.
Great selfie mode with Eye AF; Excellent image quality; Sharp; clear shots even in poor light; Fujifilm's Film Simulation modes; Effective dynamic range expansion
4K video at 15fps – what's the point; Adequate but unexceptional autofocus; No viewfinder; Can be tricky to hold for one-handed selfies; Sluggish zoom control on 15-45mm kit lens
Have had this camera a few weeks now, and I am really enjoying using it. I've always been interested in photography, but am no way an expert, but have found the X-A5 to be a solid entry point to develop my skills.
I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the DPR studio scene comparison tool and happened to notice that the X-A5, for some reason, seemed to have an unusually sharp image along with very low noise at around 1600 or so.
by William Brawley | Posted 07/03/2018 Although Fujifilm makes some expensive X Series cameras, it hasn't forgotten about the entry-level or budget-conscious out there. Coming in right at $600 with a kit lens, the Fujifilm X-A5 is one of Fuji's most affordable X Series mirrorless cameras.

Slower-than-average AF speed; 4K video capped at 15fps; Very slow startup to first shot time with new power-zoom kit lens; Sluggish single-shot cycle times, Default sharpening and contrast too high, Slower-than-average AF speed despite new hybrid AF system, Inconsistent AF performance (missed focus,...
