Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Review

The ideal starter camera for anyone who's new to instant photography. Has everything you need to get started with instant film, and none of what you don't.

By far the cheapest Instax camera; Instax Mini film packs some of the least expensive instant film; Auto exposure takes a lot of hassle out of composition;

Fewer creative modes than rival cameras; Tends to overexpose in bright conditions; Have to account for lens parallax effect when framing shots;

Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Review: Reinventing The Past

There was a time when instant cameras were such a rage. However, they slowly died under the dual attack of digital cameras and social media. The former made it easy to capture and store the photos while the later brought on photo sharing features. They together made the film cameras obsolete.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 review

The Instax Mini 9 is one of the most affordable cameras to use Fujifilm's hugely popular Instax Mini film cartridges – these produce small business card size prints which emerge seconds after taking the photo and self-develop before your eyes within a minute.

The updated Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 looks exactly like its predecessor. The company didn't make a giant leap in terms of design compared to the earlier launched Instax Mini 8. The updated Instax Mini 9 looks similar, except now the camera features a tiny selfie mirror and also packs a clip-on Macro...

Lightweight; toy looking; fun camera; Easy to operate; Offers comparatively better picture quality

Costly Instax Film; Takes time developing photos; Tiny photo size

Instax Mini 9 review

The Instax Mini 9 undercuts the instant camera competition massively, coming in as the cheapest model we’ve reviewed so far. It struggles in some lighting, but provided you’re looking for a budget camera that has the basic functions, this could be all you need.

FujiFilm Instax Mini 9 Camera Ice Blue review

A great balance of price and performance that will please most users

Good photos in indoor/low-light situations; both camera and film relatively inexpensive; multiple exposure settings; small and durable

Tends to overexpose when used in bright sun; smaller photo size; limited image settings; Tends to overexpose when used in bright sun; smaller photo size; limited image settings; Tends to overexpose when used in bright sun; smaller photo size; limited image settings

gift

was a Christmas gift for granddaugher and she loved it. Brought back memories when I had one years ago, I think they are overpriced but with sale and coupon was ok.

Film refill

Received the camera which is great. However, QVC online shows a photo of the camera with a fujifilm refill box....when you receive the camera, then refill is a foil pack from the box. A little mistepresentstion by QVC.

Instant film cameras are fun little toys to have around. They're easy to use and you get a printed photo on the spot with that iconic retro look that we try to recreate in our social apps.

Cost per photo isn't very economical; Pictures lack clarity; Exposure isn't always accurate

Photo filters are quite the rage these days on social media, and more often than not, we use them to give our photos a retro effect. Riding this wave is Fujifilm with its range of Instax cameras that brings the old-school polaroid cameras into the hands of the millennials.
