It’s the ability to perfect your photos before you print that’s the real selling point here, especially for those that bristle at the cost of the film itself, which is still around £1/$1 per print. Still, there’s a loss of immediacy here too, and it’s hard not to feel that in letting you pick the perfect shot, the SQ10 misses out on the charm of instant cameras in the first place.

I know cameras, I love cameras, I have many (too many) and this for me is a fun camera. This isn't the camera you buy for your kids (although you could), this is Dad's or Mom's camera. A nerd's camera. It produces beautiful photos in square format photos harkening back to the Poloroids of yore.

Do you want to keep your photos for a long time, and make some of them widely available Or do you want them to be more ephemeral, something you can give to a friend and maybe never see again
