Having reviewed Fujifilm's latest EXR-sensor compact the FinePix Z700 earlier this week, I thought I'd take a look at it's little brother the FinePix Z70 today. While the Z700 is stuffed with the latest technology, including its advanced sensor, image stabilisation and a big high-resolution...
Pros:
- Good results in optimal lighting
Cons:
- Slow start-up
- Slow autofocus
- no AF assist lamp
- Poor dynamic range

Looks wicked, works perfectly, fits in your party handbag!
I absolutely love this camera. Bought it at the weekend and haven't looked back. Shutter speed is super quick, the different shooting modes work really well, and it's light and slim.

Fujifilm Finepix Z70 Review
As the latest camera in Fujifilm's unconventionally styled Z series, the Z70 is aimed at younger users looking for something a little different its basic specifications entirely befit its modest price tag.
Pros:

Cons:
- Barrel distortion at wideangle
- various image quality issues

Stick to film.
I bought this as a birthday present for mom, but after we took a few pictures I realized I'd made a mistake by not getting her a comparable Canon point-and-shoot digital. I promptly took her to the store and got her one instead.
Pros:
- It hasn't broken yet
Cons:
- Every picture this camera takes is terrible
- Faces and skin tones look washed out and/or otherwise disgusting no matter what kind of lighting is used
- And then I tried indoor shooting with flash
- LOL everybody is TWICE as washed out!!

Great little camera
This camera is hard to misplace,with it's bright raspberry color! It is smaller than my last one and fits in my pocket easier.The pictures are nice and clear,and colors bright.

Amazing camera
I bought this camera the Monday before mother’s day 2010, and I absolutely love it!

Fuji Finepix Z70
The Fuji Finepix Z70 is a small, simple pocket camera. It falls into to the cheaper price category. In fact there are not many cheaper pocket cameras available from known brands. Fuji are marketing the Finepix Z70 as a simple, fun camera.
Pros:
- Some of the skies took on a slightly grainy look and you can expect noise to kick appear in shady and darker areas of a shot
- Even so I did not think that for a camera in this price bracket the Finepix Z70 had a major issue with noise

- LCD screen quality - slow turn on and shutter lag times - picture quality

Perfect Package
Bought this as a gift for my daughter - she's thrilled with it. It's a beautiful package, color, case, etc. Easy to use and takes great pictures.
Pros:
- Easy To Use
- Fast/accurate auto-focus
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- Nice Body Color
- Small / Compact

Fujifilm FinePix Z70
Fujifilm is targeting its Finepix Z70 at the youth market, with a frantic interactive website, a range of bright colours and Facebook and YouTube connectivity. Sadly, though, the camera's styling is more Saga than Street, with its brushed metallic finish and chrome trim.
