Fujifilm was very quick off the mark with its first 3D compact camera, the W1, and managed to hit the shelves just as the latest 3D craze flooded the cinemas and the home-entertainment market.

This camera is an excellent gift idea for anyone who wants images in 3d or 2d or both. You need to make sure your t.v. or computer is 3d compatible. also I do not think that there is paper to print out your 3D images, you have to submit them to a company that does.
Dual 2d 3d modes; Excellent video; Fast/accurate auto-focus; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; Large Clear LCD; Nice Body Color; Real 3d; Short Lag Time; Small / Compact
Eyes need to adjust to 3d; Short Battery Life
I have mixed feelings about this camera! Will try to summarize it all. Positive things: + 3D screen works great! A little small sweet-spot but great effect! And the screen is great! + Much better buttons than W1 which was a nightmare to use!
Name: FinePix Real 3D W3 (Fujifilm) Type: 3D capable compact camera Specs: Click here for full specs Price: Around £350 If you've just bought yourself a 3D TV, you may be starting to wonder why you bothered. Though content is...
The Real 3D W3 is a niche product that will appeal to a limited audience. It's not the sort of camera you would buy light-heartedly for a bit of fun because it can do "the whole 3D thing" - there's plenty of other cameras that can do something similar without the hassle, like Sony's TX9 and WX5 .
Lenticular screen; which means no glasses needed to see 3D; It's an actual 3D camera
Clumsy menu structure; Fingers can obscure lenses unintentionally; Need a 3D TV or frame to view images and video away from the camera
When you're the only player in the 3D camera realm, you can afford to be a little bit daring. Sure, other companies have 3D imaging solutions (we're looking at you Sony , with 3D capture modes, and Panasonic, with the 3D interchangeable lens ), but Fujifilm is the only one to really think outside...

If 3D imagery is not for you then you really would benefit from a specific 2D camera, although if it is then the Fujifilm W3 is really the only 3D camera out there that offers you the ability to review your images straight away on the back of the camera, minus the glasses!
The FujiFilm FinePix Real 3D W3 features terrific advanced 2D options but hit-or-miss 3D effects leave us wanting more.
Very nice auto stereoscopic display; Twin CCDs; two lenses; For adventurous shutterbugs; Terrific Advanced 2D options
Expensive; No stabilization or AF assist lamp; No zoom with 3D video
Everybody seems to be talking about 3D these days. It's been around before and never really caught on, so is it just the latest passing fad or is 3D entertainment really here to stay this time?
In the wake of the first 3D camera developed by Fujifilm (FinePix W1), it has developed and marketed a new 3D model. We are talking about the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W3 . Given the limited success of W1, Fujifilm ensures that the first true 3D camera in the world is the FinePix Real 3D W3 .
