Fitbit Versa 2
Fitbit Versa 2 is the second generation of Fitbits popular Versa smartwatch series. It includes several improvements compared to the original Fitbit Versa model. First of all, it features an always-on display. Hence, there's no need to press a button or moving the wrist to turn on the screen. This obviously affects battery life, which has decreased from five days to four days. Secondly, Versa 2 has Amazon's digital assistant Alexa built-in. The user simply asks Alexa to perform certain tasks, and responses can be viewed on the screen. Please note that this smartwatch lacks a speaker, so oral responses aren't possible.
A newer model Fitbit Versa 3 was released in August 2020.

Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review
The Versa 2 is a great hybrid of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch, but lacks built-in GPS which may be a deal-breaker for runners. It's still one of the best wearables you can buy for under $200.- The Fitbit Versa 2 battery lasts for days and days
- There's a clear, easy-to-understand breakdown of your fitness and sleep metrics in the Fitbit app
- You get a wide selection of watch faces
- It's faster and more responsive than the first watch
- The Versa 2 works on iOS or Android.
- Alexa integration is not as fleshed out as it could be
- Connected GPS means you have to take your phone with you when doing outdoor workouts.
Fitbit Versa 2 review: A $200 smartwatch and fitness tracker with a battery that won't quit
The Versa 2 is a great hybrid of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch, but lacks built-in GPS which may be a deal-breaker for runners. It's still one of the best wearables you can buy for under $200. Editors' note, Oct. 31, 2019: Thanks to its $200 (£200, AU$325) price, long-lasting battery and compatibility across Android and iOS, we've awarded the Fitbit Versa 2 an Editors' Choice. It's one of the best examples of a hybrid fitness tracker and smartwatch you can buy. Our review, originally published Oct. 13, follows.- The Fitbit Versa 2 battery lasts for days and days

- Always-on display option
- Bright and clear new AMOLED display
- Lightweight and comfortable for 24/7 wear
- Detailed sleep and heart rate data
- No support for offline Spotify music
- No integration with Apple Health or Google Fit
- Bands can be tough to replace

With the smartphone being such a ubiquitous part of everyday life, the less intuitive smartwatch isn't always the ideal replacement for most users. As such, the price of these units isn't always justified.- Price point
- Great battery life
- Sleep tracking and insights
- Internal music storage
- Spotify doesn't stream directly
- Alexa needs better integration

Fitbit Versa 2 Review – A worthy update
Fitbit Versa 2 is without a doubt, the best Fitbit can offer in 2019. Its AMOLED display is sharp, vibrant, and very responsive due to the hardware upgrade. While the design looks similar to the original Fitbit Versa, why change what works, right
Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review
In Versa 2, Fitbit has finally nailed the smartwatch formula, pairing a smooth, responsive OS with appropriately powered hardware. That said, some more apps wouldn't go astray.
