Fitbit Versa 2
Fitbit Versa 2 is the second generation of Fitbits popular Versa smartwatch series. It includes several improvements compared to the original Fitbit Versa model. First of all, it features an always-on display. Hence, there's no need to press a button or moving the wrist to turn on the screen. This obviously affects battery life, which has decreased from five days to four days. Secondly, Versa 2 has Amazon's digital assistant Alexa built-in. The user simply asks Alexa to perform certain tasks, and responses can be viewed on the screen. Please note that this smartwatch lacks a speaker, so oral responses aren't possible.
A newer model Fitbit Versa 3 was released in August 2020.

Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review
The Fitbit Versa 2 is a solid smartwatch-come-fitness tracker that will meet most casual or newbie gym goers' needs. However, the lack of an in-built GPS and a lacking developer app store will stop it appealing to serious athletes and dedicated smartwatch users.- Decent battery life
- Good screen for the price
- Alexa support
- No inbuilt GPS
- No local Spotify playback
Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review
The Fitbit brand is everywhere. If you wear an Apple Watch today, chances are you wore a Fitbit before it. And even if you've never worn a Fitbit you probably know what it is, having seen it on dozens or hundreds of other wrists.
Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review
On paper, the Fitbit Versa 2 is a compelling upgrade over its predecessor. It features a bigger, better display, useful Alexa integration and refined software. It still lasts days longer than Samsung and Wear OS watches and looks pretty, to boot.- Attractive and comfortable design
- Alexa integration feels useful
- Accurate sleep-tracking
- Long-lasting battery without Always On Display
- Finicky connectivity
- Unintuitive OS
Fitbit Versa 2 (2019) review
The Fitbit Versa 2 improves over the first-gen smartwatch in many small but meaningful ways.- Great battery life
- Better screen & performance
- Still lacks ECG
- Not as feature-rich as Apple Watch
Fitbit Versa 2
The Apple Watch Series 4 is still a more powerful wearable with a much wider variety of faces and apps, but it also costs twice as much as the Versa 2 and requires an iOS device to work.- Attractive AMOLED screen with always-on option
- Long battery life
- Lots of useful apps and fitness features
- Fitbit Pay
- Amazon Alexa
- Screen isn't quite as bright as the original model
- Alexa responses are text only
Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review
Alexa is the star of the show here, but it’s the small improvements in the design and software that really make the Versa 2 feel like a leap ahead. There are bugs that need fixing, particularly with Alexa, and some people will simply want something more stylish.- Rounder
- curved design
- Alexa’s handy (when it works)
- Fitbit Pay on all models
Fitbit Versa 2 Review
The Fitbit Versa 2 takes everything we like about the original smartwatch and adds an always-on AMOLED display, a microphone for Amazon Alexa, and Fitbit Pay. The Fitbit Versa remains one of the most functional and friendly Android-compatible smartwatches we've seen. It's packed with features, looks and feels attractive, and costs much less than the iOS-only Apple Watch. Fitbit also offers the even less expensive (though still quite appealing) Versa Lite, and now the original is getting its first major update in the form of the Versa 2. It includes everything we love about the original, and adds an AMOLED screen with an always-on option, a microphone with Amazon Alexa, and makes Fitbit Pay a standard feature (and not just limited to the Special Edition model), all while keeping its $199.95 price. The Versa 2 is easily our new favorite Android-compatible smartwatch, as well as our Editors' Choice. Design and Style The Versa 2 is slightly more rounded than the Versa, with an AMOLED face that curves smoothly into the aluminum case instead of the original's flat face and angular edges. The underside is similarly curved, giving the watch a ...- Attractive AMOLED screen with always-on option
- Long battery life
- Lots of useful apps and fitness features
- Fitbit Pay
- Amazon Alexa

Fitbit Versa 2 review
The Fitbit Versa 2 covers all the aspects of a health and fitness watch, measuring steps, heart rate, distance, calories burned, floors climbed, active minutes, hourly activity, and sleep.
Fitbit Versa 2 review: Just a touch short of greatness
For me, the Fitbit Versa is frustratingly close to being amazing but I couldn't make it my main watch without a GPS chip. It's a shame the company doesn't make a Versa 2 Pro with GPS built in, because it's far nicer to look at and use than the Fitbit Ionic.- Looks fantastic
- Balanced set of features
- The Fitbit app is great
- No built-in GPS
- No offline Spotify playback
Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review
A solid all-rounder with enough smartwatch and fitness capabilities for most people, with a killer battery life to boot- Great screen
- Superb battery life
- Solid fitness/sleep tracking
- Extremely comfortable
- NFC payments
- Alexa smart assistant
- No GPS
- Changing certain settings via the app can be tedious
