Fitbit Versa 2 is the second generation of Fitbits popular Versa smartwatch series. It includes several improvements compared to the original Fitbit Versa model. First of all, it features an always-on display. Hence, there's no need to press a button or moving the wrist to turn on the screen. This obviously affects battery life, which has decreased from five days to four days. Secondly, Versa 2 has Amazon's digital assistant Alexa built-in. The user simply asks Alexa to perform certain tasks, and responses can be viewed on the screen. Please note that this smartwatch lacks a speaker, so oral responses aren't possible.

A newer model Fitbit Versa 3 was released in August 2020.

Fitbit Versa 2 review: smart fitness tracker, dumb smartwatch

Fitbit's name has been synonymous with fitness trackers since its inception. But for the past few years, the company has also been branching into the smartwatch world to compete with the likes of the Apple Watch and Samsung's wearable lineups.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • lightweight design
  • Week-long battery life
  • Screen is bright and easy to see outdoors
  • Great fitness and sleep-tracking features
  • Voice replies are handy for Android users
Cons:
  • Changing straps is still a huge chore
  • despite the quick-release pins
  • Always-on display is too simple and not customizable enough
  • Alexa integration is clumsy and largely pointless
  • Smartwatch productivity features are lacking

Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review

The Fitbit brand is everywhere. If you wear an Apple Watch today, chances are you wore a Fitbit before it. And even if you've never worn a Fitbit you probably know what it is, having seen it on dozens or hundreds of other wrists.

Fitbit Versa 2 review: Couple of clicks behind greatness

I wore the Fitbit Versa 2 for more than a week and I enjoyed it. The Versa 2 is no doubt an improvement over the original Versa, especially on the display and battery front. All that said, it would be hard to recommend the Versa 2 to an iPhone user, given the Apple Watch Series 3 is selling for Rs...

Fitbit versa

Bought based on reviews compared to Apple Watch series 3. Battery life is not good as needs charged every 2 days. Features are limited and most of the better apps cost a fee. Overall I would stick to the Apple series 3 or better as even though that watch requires constant charging it's a better...

Fitbit Versa 2 Bordeaux/Copper Rose FB507RGRW review

The Versa 2 is a great hybrid of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch, but lacks built-in GPS which may be a deal-breaker for runners. It's still one of the best wearables you can buy for under $200.
Pros:
  • The Fitbit Versa 2 battery lasts for days and days
  • There's a clear, easy-to-understand breakdown of your fitness and sleep metrics in the Fitbit app
  • You get a wide selection of watch faces
  • It's faster and more responsive than the first watch
  • The Versa 2 works on iOS or Android.
Cons:
  • Alexa integration is not as fleshed out as it could be
  • Connected GPS means you have to take your phone with you when doing outdoor workouts.

Fitbit Versa 2 review: A $200 smartwatch and fitness tracker with a battery that won't quit

The Versa 2 is a great hybrid of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch, but lacks built-in GPS which may be a deal-breaker for runners. It's still one of the best wearables you can buy for under $200. Editors' note, Oct. 31, 2019: Thanks to its $200 (£200, AU$325) price, long-lasting battery and compatibility across Android and iOS, we've awarded the Fitbit Versa 2 an Editors' Choice. It's one of the best examples of a hybrid fitness tracker and smartwatch you can buy. Our review, originally published Oct. 13, follows.
Pros:
  • The Fitbit Versa 2 battery lasts for days and days
  • There's a clear, easy-to-understand breakdown of your fitness and sleep metrics in the Fitbit app

  • The Versa 2 works on iOS or Android.

Excellent smartwatch with an awesome battery life

The watch would battery charge lasts for 5 days with moderate use . Provides all the necessary alerts with an elegant display. I have been using this for a 3 weeks now and I have ordered another one for my wife. Packaging and ups delivery with the wrapper box damaged was the only issue.
