Blood Dragon may not be very different in terms of gameplay compared to Far Cry 3, but at least it was very solid allowing both infiltration and berserk style, and even as a short expansion (5 hours to finish to 100%) the side activities are repetitive, but there is also an unique atmosphere and...

The story is a bit bland but some of the characters are fantastic, including the main antagonist, Vaas. The game looks great and it's classic far cry, massive landscapes and over the top action, it'll entertain you for days.

One of the best newer open world games and an excellent FPS with a good story. With that it also has a 2-player split-screen linear co-op or online up to 4 players. A highly recommended game.

This generation has seen no lack of open-world games ever since The Elder Scrolls series showed devs the ropes with Oblivion. The biggest problem that open world games face is that the world often feels empty with only a few missions or a couple of side quests to do at any time.

Shooting and running around a large open world can be hard enough when it is against humanoid enemies. Far Cry 3 takes it a step further and emerses you in a world filled with nasty wildlife and other hidden dangers while trying to make your stake at survival in the world.
