Far Cry 3: Hot, hot, hot

Ever wondered what it would be like to be stranded on a desert island, the sun, sea, sand at your mercy? Pack your sun cream and weapons, because Far Cry 3 is set to blow this myth sky high and there's not a single a palm tree in town that can shade you from the dangers that await at the end of the...

Far Cry 3

Ubisoft heads back to the tropics with their third interpretation of the expansive Far Cry series. More than a simple shooter, Far Cry 3 is an adventure, and one that should be explored by any fan of the genre.

Expansive open-world environment to explore, Great storyline with some outstanding characters, Lots to do, lots of ways to do it, Solid combat mechanics; with some excellent stealth mechanics, Excellent character development and customization, Production is spot on.

This destination might be too big for some gamers; Some of the side missions are too basic; While mindless fun; the co-op seems unnecessary

Review: Far Cry 3

Every fall, video game journalists are inundated with copies of games from developers looking for press leading into the holiday season. As someone who reviews not only games, but a wide variety of electronics for a living, it's important for me to limit the amount of time I spend with each title to...

co-op is completely different experience than single player (would be fun to play single player campaign with a friend; huge map to explore; amazing voice acting; endless supply of side quests

OXCGN's Far Cry 3?Review

It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining, there's a cool breeze in the air, filled with the sound of the ocean lapping upon the coast. There is no time to enjoy the weather, though; I've got an island to retake.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Review

Ubisoft went against its own ‘super-corporation' principles by taking the plunge to release something that started as an inside joke amongst Ubisoft Montreal studio programmers. The ‘suits' at Ubisoft were probably going ‘Hey, this game's got that indy feel to it, why not capitalize on that?

Blood Dragon may not be very different in terms of gameplay compared to Far Cry 3, but at least it was very solid allowing both infiltration and berserk style, and even as a short expansion (5 hours to finish to 100%) the side activities are repetitive, but there is also an unique atmosphere and...

Review: Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (Sony PlayStation 3)

Blood Dragon is the kind of DLC that makes the whole DLC practice worthwhile. It takes the core mechanics and ideas from Far Cry 3 and goes all out with them. Add in a fantastically glorious homage to the best and corniest of the eighties, and you have one hell of a game.

Far Cry 3 – The Singleplayer Verdict

I'll come out and say that I have been blown away by Far Cry 3 from what I have played so far, I thought that it had a lot of potential from when I played it at the Eurogamer Expo, but that was limited to the open world and was only a relatively short experience.
