Considered one of the classics to come out of Bethesda's stable, and rightfully so. I'd have preferred a little less of the character customization (an entire personality test in a video game, seriously ?), but the game is overall quite good.

For the record for people who may buy this, this is a steam game, you have to load it through steam and patch it through steam, the game installs from disc for the most part though.

Fallout: New Vegas - Gun Runner's Arsenal is another okay New Vegas dlc. This is just another items pack that only adds weapons and modifications but also adds new challenges. Some of the new weapons are really good and some of the best in the game.

This game is vast and explorable to a fault because it takes you what seems like forever to complete, but you definitely get your moneys worth, especially if bought when there is a steam sale. It does work on windows 8 and 8.1 and does not require a gaming computer to play.

Excellent game - mostly. This "Ultimate Edition" includes all DLC (4 added-on chapters, and various added-on weapons & gear) on one disc. However it comes with no documentation - no manual, no booklet, nada.

The room was dark, my eyes slightly opening to adjust to the feint light penetrating through the window.  My stomach empty, growling for food to give me energy and water to re-hydrate my body.

Since this did not ship directly from newegg I cannot fault their efforts... but the company packaging should be better than it was...

Outstanding game..

Case when arrived, was shattered into a dozen pieces..; The game itself did not appear to be damaged, but the artwork (DVD Sleeve) was torn and ripped..; the game was only wrapped in a paper packaging (NOT a blisterpak) and failed to survive UPS handling..

One thing that could have been better is the character, you don't know your own player, who he is, the game lacks character development on the whole. And as mentioned earlier, traveling can feel overencumbered(pun intended) , its too slow paced.

New Vegas continues the Fallout Legacy,while staying fresh and exciting. Here's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of New Vegas. The GOOD: An amazing blend of 50's style with (what if) futuristic and fantasy technology. The shear size of the New Vegas world will blow you away.

Background -------------- I loved Fallout 3. Elder scrolls developer Bethesda had taken a much loved series in an even more positive direction. Isometric viewed CRPGs were, if not dead, then certainly unwell. Long live the 1st person CRPG.
