Review: Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition (PC)

I haven't spent too much time with the Fallout franchise; I'd seen a couple friends play it and they seemed to be pretty interested in it, and it seemed like the kind of franchise I'd enjoy, being as I'm into post-apocalyptic storylines, pulp magazine art, and satirical/dark humor.

PC - Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

I thought the game was very fun and has great graphics. Unfortunately, you are forced to download and install Steam, even with the CD. The game is also full of various bugs and lag or choppy parts. Sometimes the game will just sit at the loading screen the first time you start it.

Fallout New Vegas

Fallout New Vegas is amazing!!! I love this game and have been playing it since the game was released. This game has never ending fun exploring the Mojave Desert with all of my unique weapons purifying the wastes! lol, seriously though, amazing game!

"Brilliant"

Having played all of the games in the series now, I would say that this is graphically the most impressive, The story line is above average, not what I was expecting but ties in well as you play through.

Fallout: New Vegas Review

War. War never changes." OK, actually, that's not entirely true. If Fallout's gravelly voiced narrator were really a stickler for accuracy, he'd probably amend his catchphrase to read: "War. War changes slightly." Make no mistake: Fallout: New Vegas is not Fallout 4.

Massive, varied, game world; new faction system; challenging Hardcore mode

Numerous bugs and glitches; dirt-poor AI; sloppy first-person shooting

Fallout: New Vegas – review (PS3, 360, PC)

The room was dark, my eyes slightly opening to adjust to the feint light penetrating through the window.  My stomach empty, growling for food to give me energy and water to re-hydrate my body.

Fallout: New Vegas

When Fallout 3 launched two years ago on the PC, the gaming public and press heralded the post apocalyptic RPG an instant classic, with a few reservations. Sure there were a few hold outs who said while they were glad the series had been resurrected; the newest release had lost some of the flavor of...

Tons of good side quests; Hard core mode makes the game much more satisfying; New game play tweaks expand and enhance the RPG experience; The game feels more like a true successor to the original series; high replayability factor

Frequent crashes; Lots of other little bugs; Areas of the game could have used more time with the QA department; Enemies get embedded in the scenery; Main quest line is largely uninspiring

Fallout: New Vegas - Honest Hearts

This being a Fallout game, it's no surprise that you could run into a number of bugs. These include some enemies you cannot damage or target in the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System because they are standing in water; enemies hovering in midair or clipping into rocks; and non-player characters...

A big new area to explore; A bunch of new missions to perform; New level cap; new perks; Interesting choices energize questing

Shrugworthy story and characters; The usual Fallout glitches; Formulaic adventure with no signature moments

Fallout: New Vegas (PC)

While the world is still recovering from a nuclear apocalypse, the reconstruction of New Vegas is underway. New Vegas is by far the best looking area since the war happened. Of course, it\'s a huge moneymaker and quite the tourist trap.

Superb graphics and voice acting; two companions can travel with you now; plenty of quests to do; lots of fun game play to be had here
