More than pretty much any other competitive sport, soccer is perfect for showing off. Few sports can match the artful way in which the practitioners of the "beautiful game" can juggle the ball using their head, knees, feet - anything but their hands.

When I was in college one of my favorite things to do was go over to my friends' dorm room and play FIFA soccer on the original PlayStation. We spent hours and hours playing co-op games against the computer. We would do playoffs, exhibition matches and seasons.

If you've never witnessed some of the amazing footage of street soccer players showing off their tricks, check it out on YouTube sometime. The guys (and girls) have skills that are truly phenomenal: the depth of control seemingly defies physics, their flair is almost artistic.

In the end, FIFA Street is a decent game that could have been a lot better. I can't help but feel that EA Canada missed its mark with this one, although they still delivered a relatively enjoyable experience.

I was looking forward to playing the online, and I am still determined to get the 1000. What really gets to me is the EA thinks they can release a $59.99 game that people are looking forward to, with as many simple bugs.

Nothing says "street" like wearing dodgy clothing, listening to dub-step and hanging about in a car-park.  So what better way to spend your time being street than keeping the neighbours awake kicking a ball against a fence.

It is nice to see " FIFA Street " returning after a four year break and in that time it seems that the developers have taken into account previous flaws and ironed them out in producing this package which is superbly packed with content.

Football mania has waned a little after the World Cup came and went in South Africa, but for a few people it actually opened their eyes to the sport. Now you get little pockets of people playing football in parks, backyards and even parking lots – people who never would have played football before.
