My experience with Expert Infotech was 100% positive and I would recommend them to anyone...cheers!Yet another disappointed customer..
Dec 08: Ordered camera Thursday, 'please pick up' email sent Friday, turned up Saturday (as advised by email) to find that they'd initially put it aside for me but had then sold it to someone else who came in to the store. I was then told to come back Monday. I called Monday afternoon to be told that it hadn't arrived (despite their website showing 5 of them in stock). They said that they'd call me when the new stock had arrived. After hearing nothing by late Tuesday, I called them to be told that they had the cameras, and how many did I want?! Poor communication, poor customer service; can't be trusted, to be frank! Cheap price, but best not to set your expectations too high before dealing with them.very dissappointing!
1 week ago, I drove to the store to purchase the camera package for the price of NZ$1780 (which was stated on PriceME). Alas, the camera was not available. The saleslady said that I should placed an order for this camera, and can pick it in a few days. She promised to give me a call. She never mentioned that there is a possibility that the price can go up. I never received a call- however the price went up since last week to NZ$1999. In the meantime, I called several times- no one mentioned that the price had increased. When I called today, asking the salesman whether I have to pay NZ$ 1999 or NZ$ 1780 as agreed, he offered me the camera for NZ$1980.- I think this is not a good practice- First, I wasted money and time because I drove to the shop, and the camera is not there (even if website says that camera is availabe). Even today, the webpage states that the camera is in stock- but it is not. Second, I lost the possibility to purchase the camera from another store. Overall, I think a price increase of NZ$220 within 5 days is not acceptable. And if, the retailer should inform his customers as soon as he knows that the price went up. I do not trust this retailer anymore.Good Service
"Great to deal with. Order status update is excellent idea."Panasonic Lumix DMC LX2 digital camera
June 2008: Very prompt emails upon purchasing camera to confirming request, advising it was in-stock, and again when my online bank payment was received (to avaid 2% credit card surcharge. Further emails at each stage of order to dispatch with NZPost Couriers -who left it in the letterbox :-(. Product well packaged but did not come with SD card, (hence cheapest price?) and all literature etc in Japanese so had to download manual from Panasonic. Happy with service overall.
