The transparent bottle has a shape slightly similar to an hour glass, or the figure of a woman. Placed where the waist would sinch is a gold ribbon bow, topped with a gold cap. Adding more colour to the bottle is the perfume its self, which appears to be brown.

Oriental narcotic, warm, resinous, sensual, sweet and fresh at the same time, with an overwhelming elegance, for self-confident men and women, it is not perfume for anyone. I know that this perfume has been around for a long time, but it is still one of my favourites, along with Opium, Ysatis, Chanel No 5 and Tender Poison to name just a few. It may have longevity but that doesnt detract from its infinite wearabiity.

Estee Lauder Youth Dew , introduced in 1953, was renowned for featuring 30% oil concentration, almost triple the usual amount. Its pairing of balsamic richness with a cloud of earthy patchouli renders the composition as dark, heavy and intriguingly languorous.

With a tiny spritz you get a beautiful soft oriental fragance. Don`t use to much because that will be overpowering. Best use with cold weather. I enjoy it so very much.

The scent of Youth Dew in a more subtle version. The lotion is light and you don't need a lot to get silky hydration and a boost of luxurious scent all over. And the container is sleek and operates well.

I started using Estee Lauder Youth Dew at about age 12 and over the years have had numerous positive comments so I never changed to another perfume. As the saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" so I'm going to stick with what has worked for me.

I love the smell of church incense, and this perfume smells like it, when it's applied to skin. That said, if you don't like the smell of church incense, you wouldn't like this perfume. I wear it on Sundays!
