Pure White Linen is a younger sister to Estée Lauder classic White Linen , a fragrance that should be mentioned in the course of any discussion of great American perfumes. The elegant simplicity of the composition created by the perfumer Sophia Grojsman in 1978 is fascinating.

I love perfume and if I am the lucky recipient of a bottle then I am a very happy bunny. I do make a point of looking in Superdrug and other discount chemist stores because they often have some marvellous offers on but when I buy any perfume it is usually a gift for someone else.

A classic fragrance for the mature woman

This is one of the very few fragrances (and I own many) that I absolutely never tire of. It lifts my spirits. It's crisp, fruity, floral, clean, fresh, powdery, entirely inoffensive yet long lasting, goes anywhere for any occasion.

A classic perfume you can't go wrong with. Not too floral or too sweet and a long lingering smell - a perfume for the grown up, sophisticated woman.

White Linen is one of my favourite perfumes and I needed to restock! The lightness of the fragrance is fantastic for very warm or even cold days. There is nothing NOT to like about White Linen and I will certainly continue to use this fragrance.

This was created in 2006/07 (I liked the commercial with Gwyneth Paltrow) in order to rejuvinate the original "White Linen". Nice, crisp and clean fragrance, yet I prefer the old stuff which is far more original, even provoking.

I remember when this was first introduced. It came with two other scents which you were to layer with "White Linen." I recall walking by the fragrance counter over and over for more samples of this amazing light scent--I wasn't old enough and didn't have money to purchase it for myself.

White Linen is a clean, fresh summer fragrance which I first experienced many years ago and have continued to love Every time I wear this perfume I get positive remarks about how lovely the smell is. I bought this perfume because I had run out of White Linen.
