Beautiful Prints. Lots'a ink.

As an professional architectural photographer, I often provide clients with large 13x19 prints, suitable for hanging/display. This Epson really delivers in reproductive quality, no complaints. Unfortunately, the turn-over rate of the ink cartridges is extreme -- and expensive. Good news/bad news.

Disappointed

I bought this printer over a week ago and the setup was fairly easy and initial prints looked really good. However after a few prints I started noticing ink streaks on the top right of the photo paper. This was minimal in some cases and worse in other.

I have never in my life been so upset in a purchase. I can not only get the printer to not print in any sizes above 8.5 x 11 because apparently the printer must be in such perfect alignment that the vernal equinox can be seen from all points in the universe for it to accept the paper, but the touch...

The print quality is great but the build quality is flimsy. The wi fi method of connection is also dodgy. Once the printer goes to sleep the computer can't find it a day or so later.

GR8 PRINTER

This printer prints high quality photos. It was more than I expected and I saved a bundle by ordering from B&H . I am not a professional , but the quality of these prints are amazing and very sharp with details. I look forward to printing more great photos with this printer.

Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 Wide-Format Inkjet Printer

Typically, to get wide-format fine art and photos, you'd need to buy your own professional-quality photo printer or rent time on one at a service bureau. The former option is not only costly to purchase (starting at about twice the price of the XP-15000), but also the ink itself (keeping in mind...

  • Uses new Claria Photo HD inks

Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 Wide-Format Inkjet Printer Review

The consumer-grade Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 Wide-Format Inkjet Printer produces output quality that's comparable with much more expensive professional models. When it comes to consumer-grade supertabloid (13-by-19-inch) inkjet photo printers, the only one I knew of before the Epson Photo HD XP-15000 Wide-Format Printer ($349.99) is the Editors' Choice Canon Pixma iP8720 Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer. Both are single-function (print only) models. Both six-ink machines print exceptionally well, especially photos, and they're priced similarly, but the XP-15000 has better paper-handling options and connectivity features, as well as a more modern and easier-to-use control panel, which is just enough to ease it into our top choice slot for wide-format consumer-grade photo printers. Five Years Leaner The XP-15000 ($349.99 at Dell Technologies) replaces the company's much larger and heavier Artisan 1430 ($349.99 at Dell Technologies) . Measuring 6.3 by 18.7 by 14.5 inches (HWD) with its drawers and trays closed, and weighing 18.7 pounds, the XP-15000 is small for a wide-format printer, but large enough that many small family-oriented and home-...
