WiFi setup was a major pain. I only managed to resolve it since I'm an IT person and have a technical background--but other users may be unable to get around the set up issues. Epson software isn't very much help either. It's evenore problematic if it's a Mac you're trying to set up.

Awful Printing Quality.. and on inspection the Epson Technical guy says.. "Sir don't compare with HP" printing is so dull that i am planning to buy a better printer at 1/5th the cost.

I've had the printer for a few weeks now and printing over Wi-Fi from Windows 7/8.1 or Andriod is fine. I've not tried my iPad yet but the print quality is fine for general documents.

Must by product for home even for office.. Cost per print is very low so useful in long run.photo print quality is wonderful.settin up of wiFi connection is easy & u should enter ur IP address manually.. Just go for it if u love photography.. U will never regret...

I have bought Epson WF-2538 printer about 3 weeks ago. I have paid for 3 years of warranty too. I was promised a demo. Nobody has turned up so far on that. The scanner doesn't work. I have logged in the complaint (Complaint no: 553713).

Followed my head and went for a printer with great cost savings (which this printer should do after a few after a few years, after the initial upfront cost). It was a nightmare to set up, print speed is slow, needs its own app to print (very limited settings), cannot over-print to edges and so far...

I found the setting up of the printer pretty straight forward . One thing that did nearly go wrong was when I was filling each colour up using the bottles. Because the stoppers of the ink wells are in pairs, I had left two wells open to fill them.

I found the printer very easy to set up (although sensible precautions needed when filling the ink tanks). The software was straightforward to install and I was soon printing from my laptop, tablet and phone. The printing is a little slow but I wasn't planning on printing vast quantities anyway.
