No Good

The 1 star that i am giving this game is to much but it is a slow as i can go. The game play is not good at all and the graphics are not even good enough for the PS2. I mean really what a waste of time. No thought was put into this game. A real let down.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

First Impressions My reaction is When the original Quake game was released way back in 1996 on the PC, it was heralded as the first game to ever create a ‘true' 3D look and feel. The Quake game engine itself went through several upgrades over the years, and with each new release in the Quake series,...

Meh

Great game on pc, but leggy, and dumb on console. AI is completely stupid, and gameplay is boring. Traded it away very quickly.

dissapointing

there is no single-player for the ps3 version of this product, only multiplayer with bots which are frankly very lacking the actual multiplayer is, as would be expected of such an old game, completely deserted

I don't normally do this. We've made it something of a policy here at TPS to give every game we can their due and try to play through them. Some games, though, you just can't make it through and others, like are so horribly executed that suffering through them would be an act of masochism.

When Enemy Territory: Quake Wars was released in October 2007 on the PC, it was lauded as a feverish multiplayer shooter for its objective-based action set in id Software's rich Quake universe.

Huge maps; Large battles get everyone involved; Unique gadgets and weaponry; Giant missiles

Overpriced; Lacks single-player campaign; No story or mission briefings; Bland textures and environments; No customization or persistent upgrades

on the PC? Yeah, that was when the FPS was still coming into its own and gaining a massive following, and now, more than a decade later, the two franchises are still going strong.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

hit the PC FPS market like the fist of an angry god. It was a new look at things with 3D shooters which were already growing strongly with ID's

Although I didn't review the PC version of Quake Wars (check out Sean's review ) I spent a huge amount of time with the beta and followed the PC version of the game since it was announced.
