First off, I received mine on Oct 19 and paid $360.00. Just goes to show you that you need to put these cards on a watch list. Catch a good deal on them because today its $424.00. For the review part. I went from a GTX1060 to the GXT1070 and what a huge bump in performance! Well worth it!
This card runs rise of the tomb raider at 5760x1200 on high settings at >60FPS without going over 65C (in a high airflow case) on the standard BIOS setting.
It works perfectly with my old Asus motherboard and has greatly increased the performance and graphics on ultra settings.
Graphics Card works amazing. The whole thing looks cool when it's in, can't wait to SLI them. A little worried about people saying the heating pads aren't great but so far over a week's span of hardcore gaming and usage I've never seen anything perform as good as this GPU.
Wow, what an improvement over my last card. I am by no means an expert, but I did my research and found that the 1070 was probably best suited for my needs, and having used several EVGA components in the past I decided to stick with what I felt was the best. I am so glad I did.
