Very good card, can't go wrong with one of these.
Very good card, can't go wrong with one of these.
Bought at ProShop for 2199: -. Even though I bought it a while after it came out I'm pleased with what I got for the money! Like most ITX cards, it gets quite loud at heavier gaming, but cools at the same time as it is, and stays below 70 ° C in load.
I love it and it was so worth the money, but its not that cheap. Still, if you wait and get it on sale, it's great performance for the money.
Coming from Intel HD graphics, this thing blew me out of the water; Overwatch 60 fps on epic Check! Bf4 160 fps on ultra Check! This thing has been able to play anything I want to at any settings with 60+ fps
Price
Good card for the price! Soon enough 3GBs wont be enough, MOST games run at a smooth 60 fps at high settings but i would only recommend if you will be eventually upgrading this card in the next few years. If you want a more future-proof card go with the 6GB version of the card.
This card replaced an older video card that was much hotter, much more power hungry, and barely squeezed into my Cooler Master Elite 431 plus. This card uses less than half the power, opens up 3.5" of room in the case for better airflow, and runs significantly cooler all while providing better frame...
shorter card length is fantastic for smaller cases
-Product photos hide the massive heat sink that lets this card stay cool and quiet during heavy gaming; I needlessly worried that this card might be cheaply made or inadequately cooled; Opening and installing the card alleviated any concerns
This review is of the EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5 Superclocked card, p/n 03g-p4-6162-kr I got this quite a few months back, and at the time graphics cards were still at a premium due to crypto currency mining.
was on the fence on this card cause all my research said the gtx 970 founders i had was just as good . well they were wrong. this is a way better card in all tests i have run so far im getting 15 to 20 % better performance and its cool and quiet. ran heaven benchmark and card never went over 65c.
All the games I have tried so far, run very well. Under load, the cooling fan can become very noisy. The additional software that would allow the fine tuning of the fan and of the card requires registration, not sure why this is a requirement.
Great value for a video card, if you're doing 1080p gaming and don't want to break the bank this is as good as it gets.
Great performance @ 1080p, extremely low power usage and therefore no need to upgrade your PSU to get this to function; The card itself is small which is nice for smaller case builds and general room in the tower; Getting 100fps @ Ultra settings 150% render scale Overwatch
- Some people are experiencing high temps or noise; I have experienced none of these and there was a BIOS update released by EVGA to get low noise
excellent performance great Visuals,Best 1060 Card.
