Amazing product.

Easy to empty collection container empties directly into a trash container after each use. Operating instructions are clearly written and understandable. Several points I've learned: 1) the batteries require you to be efficient while vacuuming giving you about 1/2 hour vacuum time.

The V8 Absolute picks up dog hair, bird feathers and chips from the cardboard boxes we give our parrot to keep him from chewing up the furniture. I only use it on hardwood and slate tiles (1900' first floor). I use it daily to touch up between whole house vacuuming.

It's been a long road to get the Dyson handheld to this point. The early models, starting with the DC16 all the way back in 2007, already looked good and did a job, but they were underpowered, short-lived and a bugger to maintain.

I absolutely love this vacuum! Removes dog hair and debris so quick and thoroughly. Did my whole upstairs and basement (about 1100 square feet each) on a single charge using the carpet and hard floor attachment with another bar of power still to go!

Incredibly expensive

I bought this vacuum cleaner about a month ago and it has changed my attitude to vacuuming 100%. I used to dread dragging out my corded vacuum (also a Dyson with amazing cleaning power but soo bulky). Now I'm using this one constantly. As soon as I see a bit of debris on the floor, it's gone.

This model has it all for all floor types so if your place has mixed flooring this is the one for you. Plenty of capacity, easy to use and so powerful. For ease of use I would recommend the base station is installed next to a power socket so a consideration for where you are going to keep it.
