Arrived yesterday, set up dock and put on charge, worked great for around 10 mins and then stopped working, now I have to faff around boxing and returning the dyson and I have holes in my wall from the mount.

I was in two minds as to whether to buy this or not as I already have a corded dyson vac but eventually opting to buy it. already after a few days it has made my life easier. So simple to use and the performance is every bit as good if not better than the corded ones.

I am a big fan of Dyson products, but I have had problems with the V8. If the MAX setting is used, the battery life is about 10 minutes. This is not enough time to clean my apartment. This week the V8 has stopped charging altogether. I'm waiting to hear from tech support about ways to fix this.

I bought the V8 about a month and a half and am totally amazed at the amount of dirt that comes out of our carpet now. Really wasn't cleaning it with our other vacuum cleaner.

I absolutely love this vacuum! Removes dog hair and debris so quick and thoroughly. Did my whole upstairs and basement (about 1100 square feet each) on a single charge using the carpet and hard floor attachment with another bar of power still to go!

I bought this v8 in last month it works great as advertised.

We returned our first V7 one week after we bought it. It had gasket problems. After we got another V7 and the power button failed not turning the motor on. I suspect since this type of design holding all that weight with the button it will be prone to failure.
