Driver: San Francisco

Each of the main missions has a story attached to it. Sometimes they relate back to the main narrative, while others involve ordinary citizens who've gotten themselves into a spot of trouble, such as parents whose child has been kidnapped or irresponsible teens who have entered street races.

Shift keeps the action fast paced and exciting; Huge open-world city to explore; Masses of content to play through; Fun online modes

Ridiculous storyline; Frame rate issues with split-screen; Missions get repetitive toward the end

Amazing and a sleeper hit it is.2011 is the best year ever for gaming so a game like this is going to be overlooked by most people.I actually got this game for $20 brand new because of black Friday.I would of paid the $40 for it if I would of known how awesome this game really is.The shift feature...

Game captures that magic the first 2 driver games had and mixes it with faithfully approximated version of SF together with great presentation that maintains 60fps most of the time. And for an open world game that is constantly filled with moving cars and pedestrians, this is awesome.

Driver: San Francisco - Review

Driver San Francisco

To say that Driver San Francisco is a bit of an odd game would be an understatement. Anyone who has played the demo will realise that it is not your ordinary driving game, and this is all thanks to a game mechanic that Reflections call "shift".

Driver San Francisco review

The driving itself, however, can be somewhat mixed. Handling is extremely weighty and drift-heavy. Back ends whip out at the gentlest coaxing, tyres squealing as white smoke flutters from the rubber and asphalt.

'Driver: San Francisco' (Xbox 360)

, released in 2004, received a poor critical response for its weak on-foot missions and general abundance of flaws. Fast forward to 2011, and the latest game renews the war between hard boiled cop John Tanner and crime boss Jericho.

Driver: San Francisco Review

Chasing down crooks in high-speed chases, performing death-defying feats of driving, or bringing down entire criminal organisations might be a bit much for your average cop, but Driver: San Francisco's John Tanner takes it in his stride.

Driver: San Francisco - Xbox 360 Review

Back when I was getting back into gaming after a long hiatus, I couldn't make up my mind whether to stay faithful to Sega (having previously owned a Megadrive) and pick up a Sega Saturn, or go for this brash new upstart, the Playstation, from Sony.
